Artist Roadmap
1. If you could project out past graduation, what is your overall career goal?
Past graduation, I'm really open to either getting a job in the animation industry or video game industry--both of those things have always been a passion of mine and I'm interested in either. My focus and interests job wise revolve around doing concept art, illustrations, and being a 3d modeling/texturing artist. While it comes to working for a studio I've always been interested in working in indie productions, but am open to working for big names as well. I'm not really opposed to much.
2. If you could project out into starting your career, what sounds the most appealing to you?
I'm really interested in primarily being a Weapons/Props/Environment artist because that is currently what I'm most comfortable and familiar at doing, however I've been tackling doing character art on the side to enhance my knowledge about it and potentially get better to the point where it can be a future pathway.
3. What are some of the top companies that you are interested in working for?
Nintendo, Square Enix, NaughtyDog, Pixar, DreamWorks
